1750 Forest Dr.

  • Overview

1750 Forest was the former headquarters for the Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund, a Maryland State agency located in the city of Annapolis.  The original one story building was a pre fab 1970’s era retail facility which was converted into a single story office facility for MAIF in the 1970’s then expanded and renovated in 1998 which included a new two story component. The Manekin redevelopment and DVA architectural design was completed July 2019.  The redevelopment featured a dramatic two story atrium co-working common lobby connecting the one and two story components in what was outdoor mechanical equipment space, greatly expanded glass lines, three massive interior skylights bringing natural light into the building interior, expanded parking, re-configured site, new access via a fully lighted intersection, completely renovated common area bathrooms and upgrades to all the building systems.  All the common areas are accessible to all tenants.  A few larger tenants have the opportunity for separate direct entrances as well as building signage in various locations around the building. The redeveloped property has been designed with technology companies in mind that are seeking to attract and retain employees.  1750 Forest’s design features include free wifi, lounge areas, food service, USB charging ports, bike racks, showers and an outdoor gazebo.  The property was delivered 32% preleased.
