Davis Calibration – a worldwide leader in the calibration, repair and certification of test, measurement and control instruments – will relocate its headquarters from Baltimore City’s Seton Business Park to Baltimore County’s Timonium Business Park.

The firm signed a 10-year lease for 25,200 square feet of headquarters and lab space at 1946 Greenspring Dr., effective March 2009. 

Matthew J. Haas and George Santos of Manekin, LLC represented Davis Calibration, while Whit Levering and Pat Franklin represented the landlord, Merritt Properties.

“We have grown significantly in our current location and expanded into various spaces adjacent to our headquarters property,” said Mark R. Rohde Sr., president and CEO of Davis Calibration, noting that 100 employees will work from the new headquarters. “While this has served us well, it also has forced us to expand in ways that were not always ideal for our business.”
 
“This new space will enable us to streamline operations and organize our work processes in a more efficient manner,” Rohde added. “It will be more strategic for us, and will be a more attractive location for both our current and prospective employees.”

Haas noted, “This is a significant transaction as Davis Calibration is one of the world’s oldest and finest calibration companies, and it will bring a large number of highly skilled employees to Baltimore County.”
